Basement walls

The rest of this week was spent building the main basement walls. (outer, and middle mainframe
Applying the OSB plywood before lifting wall:

Wednesday morning we had a few visitors (other than the usual Turkeys):

Today we received the floor trusses, which will be hoisted via crane and installed on Monday.

What do floor trusses do?

And by the way, I really like the "Do Not Try This At Home" picture. And the picture in the previous post with the door frame (second to last picture?). You're a good photographer!

Floor trusses will be the support underneath the main floor. They also will contain pipes, vents, and other various things.
