Glorified Framing

Finally, we set the roof trusses today. NOW, you can get an idea of what this house is actually going to look like.

First, we had to go through all the trusses on the ground to organize and label them.

Then, the end trusses were decorated with rafters, plywood, and connecting pieces. (this is much easier to do on the ground than on the roof)

We start at the garage, and back deck.




Repositioning myself for the far end.

I had to jump off the wall, and run to get this shot.


Still many more to go..


Paying the crane guy, he raked in the dough today.


Hoisting up a 16fter for bracing. Bracing is imperative, or else they could collapse overnight.
